When choosing a builder for your new home, it is important to take into account the processes your builder has in place to make your building journey and seamless and enjoyable experience. Indeed, sometimes a ‘cheaper’ builder can wind up costing you far more in the emotional stress and costly corrections than a builder who may have a slightly higher upfront price but has the correct systems in place for managing your project.
At Tasbuilt we have set up a range of simple but effective systems to ensure communication is handled professionally and accurately , and your building project flows smoothly from start to finish. Here are a few of the key components to our ‘customised, streamlined, and professional’ offering:
Detailed fixed price proposals
Our highly trained project team will work with you to develop a design that is customised to suit you and your unique building location. We then present you with a detailed proposal, which includes dimensioned plans, 3D drawings so you can accurately visualise your home, a comprehensive list of inclusions, and a fixed price breakdown of your investment. The proposal also includes other important information such as payment stages, financing details, an outline of the building journey, and some interesting background information on Tasbuilt and our team.
Dedicated client liaison
Tasbuilt have an team of experienced client liaison personnel, one of whom is allocated to your project as soon as you sign a contract. This person will be your primary point of contact throughout the build, keeping you up to date, and ensuring communication between the building team and yourself.
Our ‘MyHome Online Tracker’
You are provided with your own login to a dedicated webpage that hosts all the important details for your project, including council documents, contract and variations, and plans and specifications. Once construction starts on your new home, this page is also used by our customer service team to share regular update photos with you through the course of your build.
Customised selection process
Your client liaison will work with you to complete the detailed colour and specification process of your home. This takes place in our colour selection room at our Westbury office, and includes a meeting with the electrician, floor covering supplier and more. Refreshments are provided throughout the day, as well as a complimentary lunch voucher to one of Westbury’s delightful local cafes.
Specialised council liaison team
Tasbuilts council liaison team take the stress out of the early stages of your project by expertly processing your planning and building approvals. Our team have many years of combined experience dealing with councils right across Tasmania, and can take care of every aspect from bushfire reports, agronomist reports, soil testing, waste water design and energy assessments, as well as processing the council applications themselves.
Highly trained team of professionals
Tasbuilt have built up an extraordinary team of widely experienced professionals, both our own employees, and specialist subcontractors, to ensure your home is completed to a high standard, and in a streamlined and professional manner.
We invite you to put us to the test! Reach out to Tasbuilt today to start your building journey.
