5 of our favourite features in the Hardwicke Display

We sat down to look at the top 5 reasons the Hardwicke is so popular. Here is what we came up with

Our Hardwicke display home has been a huge success since we launched it a couple of years ago. The simple design is packed with great features which make this home a favourite amongst home buyers looking to build in Tasmania. Since opening the display, we have built variations of this design in almost every corner of Tasmania, from Wynyard in the North West, to Scottsdale in the North East, many locations down the east coast, and Hobart and below

Modern façade

The split skillion roof line and use of a combination of architectural claddings makes the Hardwicke a stylish addition to any location. Change the cladding to a traditional weatherboard like the James Hardie Scyon Linea, and coupled with a wrap around verandah, the Hardwicke becomes a striking, modern country retreat

Raking ceiling

The first impression as you walk through the front door is light and spaciousness. The raking ceiling turns a modest living area into an area that wows your visitors. The higher then normal ceiling height gives opportunity for some creative lighting, like our drop lights hanging over the kitchen island bench

Highlight windows

With the split skillion roof line and raking ceiling, the perfect addition is 3 highlight windows mounted high in the roofline. These windows ensure the maximum amount of light is streaming into the living area, keeping the space fresh and bright. Highlight windows are a popular addition to many of our design

Galley kitchen and huge walk-in pantry

The galley kitchen is the number one kitchen design in the homes we build today. The island bench provides a generous working area, and usually doubles as the social hub of the home. The huge walk in pantry will give you storage space to spare, and many of our clients customise this area to include some additional bench space, or room for the extra fridge or freezer

No wasted space

The open plan living and minimal hallways ensure that with the Hardwicke you are getting the best bang for your buck! With four bedrooms, two bathrooms and loads of storage, the Hardwicke is truly packed with everything you need!
