Tasbuilt Homes is one of Tasmania’s favourite designers and builders of unique and distinctive beach homes. We have created amazing beach homes from White Beach in the South, to the picturesque East Coast and across the Northern coastlines. Inspired by these amazing Tasmanian destinations, these homes are light filled, welcoming, and all uniquely custom designed.
Hawley Beach
In the popular coastal town of Hawley Beach, just minutes from the water, is this cleverly adapted Tasbuilt Home. Originally based on our Studland design, the layout has been adapted to include 3 bedrooms each with an ensuite, a library/rumpus room, a walk in pantry, and storage galore. Clad in a combination of energy efficient rendered polystyrene and painted cement sheet weatherboards, and complete with sunny outdoor spaces and double carport, this home makes a perfect getaway.
Lulworth
Generous living spaces and a sheltered out door alfresco make this two bedroom, two bathroom home a perfect beachside holiday home. The customised layout has been elevated to maximise the views of the raw natural coastline on Tasmania’s north.
The elevated floor level provides even more space under the home for storage and lock up parking areas.
The clever use of light toned Colourbond cladding and architectural natural oiled Weathertex panelling beautifully complement the coastal landscape that this home is set in.
The alfresco area tucks inside the envelope of the home, giving stunning views but also providing protection from the blustery ocean breezes.
Massive double glazed picture windows bring the outside in, so the view can be enjoyed in warmth and comfort in even the roughest Bass Strait weather!
Bicheno
Elevated high above the township of Bicheno on Tasmania's East Coast, this grand home stands guard over the white beaches and red rocks of Diamond Island. The generous double shower in the ensuite and the stately hardwood veranda posts are just some of the features that make this home so awe-inspiring!
Coles Bay
The location is definitely the highlight of this home, but the home itself is stunning as well. Overlooking the turquoise waters of Coles Bay, this home is built from two double bedroom cabins, giving it added flexibility for the holiday rental market. The private balconies overlook the bay, and the chequerplate flooring gives it an architectural twist. The client has furnished the home with some stunning handmade furniture
Swansea
This beachfront property is a custom designed double storey home, complete with a spacious deck overlooking the water. A blend of architectural finishes and grey colour palette helps this home blend into its location seamlessly. Large unobscured picture windows and sliding doors make the open living area a light-filled and warm place to be.
Bell Buoy Beach
A majestic modular home elevated above the sand dunes at Bell Buoy Beach. Large double glazed windows and insulated rendered cladding provide protection from the howling gales of the notorious Bass Strait. The raised decking area gives an outdoor zone for enjoying the amazing views on the nicer days. The west facing picture windows capture the amazing sunsets all year round
