Tasbuilt has joined forces with the team at Pickled Frog Backpackers again!

Tasbuilt enjoyed a moment in the spotlight in downtown Hobart …

The Pickled Frog backpackers hostel in Elizabeth St, Hobart has been a haven for travellers since colonial times. Voted as Hobart’s number one backpacker’s hostel for three consecutive years, they really know what backpackers want – cleanest rooms, hottest showers, free super-fast wifi, free day tour adventures, and the coldest beers.

Here at Tasbuilt we were thrilled to be able to partner with The Pickled Frog again and provide some more great accommodation that will attract backpackers time and time again.

The accommodation is comprised of a two-storey building including 4 bedrooms with ensuites and a bench with a sink in each room on the top storey and a large storage room and 2 bedrooms on the bottom storey which includes an accessible room with a large bathroom.

The team left Tasbuilt’s factory in Westbury with the Gradco trucks at 2 am and travelled down the Midland Highway to Hobart’s CBD and arrived on site early hours of Saturday morning to crane each section of the trucks to beat the peak hour traffic… an early start but well worth it! Not your average sight in downtown Hobart in the early hours, but it certainly caught the attention of the locals – a great effort by all, and a fantastic team effort!
