How can I get a price to build a new home in Tasmania?

At Tasbuilt, we have a thorough but streamlined process to help you through the initial stages of getting from dream to reality.
To start with, you will have a detailed discussion with one of our home consultants, developing a design and package that suits your requirements. At this stage, we recommend you throw in all your dreams and ideas – it is easier to price it all now and scale back should your budget require it as you proceed.
After your detailed discovery meeting, we will provide an initial sketch along with an estimate for your new home, to ensure what you have selected is in the right price bracket for your budget. We will work with you to tweak the plan and estimate to ensure it is to your liking.
Once you are happy with these initial concepts, we move to a detailed proposal. Your detailed proposal will include 3D drawings, dimensioned plans, detailed inclusions lists, and a fixed price breakdown of your investment. This package provides you with other relevant information such as payment stages and timelines so you can arrange details such as bank finance and temporary accommodation while your home is under construction.
Your consultant will go through the detailed proposal with you to ensure you are clear on all the inclusions, pricing and other information. You may like to make final changes and adjustments at this stage. Once the proposal has been updated to reflect your final decisions, it is time to sign off on your building contract. The detailed proposal is attached to your contract as a record of the decisions you have made.
