The 4 Biggest Tasbuilt Modular Deliveries of 2024
Take a look at the four biggest Tasbuilt modular deliveries that made 2024 a great year!

Well 2024 sure was a big year for Tasbuilt and the mission of delivering quality modular buildings. The reflections on 2024 have included revisiting some big, bold and beautiful transportations and deliveries we did throughout the year.
So to share what we’ve been revisiting, here are the four biggest modular deliveries we conducted throughout 2024! Read on to find out what they were, how many modules they were, and what made them so special and unique.
And what mustn’t be forgotten is the tireless work, many hours, and long journeys that our transport and craning crew spent to ensure each and every delivery landed on site just perfectly, and it’d be an understatement to say that they achieved this well and truly, so well done to this fabulous team behind each delivery.
Orford Family Home
This home delivery was a big one for the reason that it was transported in six modules. Six modules meant six trucks, six crane lifts, two days, and a lot of coordination. Starting off on day one, the first three modules made the journey down to Orford, and were lifted onto site which made up the bottom level of the home. At the crack of dawn the next morning, the last two made their way down, and completed the home with the top level finished.
Luxurious Seaside Home
A double story home is always a stunning site to see, especially in the world of modular. But a double story home also means that little bit extra careful work to ensure everything lands where it’s meant to without any hiccups. But as always, that’s just what the team did for this delivery. This home, now located in George Town, made its way up north in three modules – two for the bottom level and one for the top. The beauty of this home is that the top level was added so that ocean views could be enjoyed from the home, with a balcony added for a touch of luxury.
Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary Hospital
The second commercial delivery for the year happened to be this pivotal veterinary hospital, built for the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. This large building was designed and built to care for animals and ensure they are looked after well and given the treatment they’re needed. Due to its size, this single-story building was split into 4 modules for it’s delivery. As the building was being delivered to a popular and busy area of Hobart, the delivery was done in the early hours of the morning, to ensure minimal disruption to the surrounding community. As always, the team got the job done in enough time to ensure everything kept ticking as per usual.
Timberlink Double Story Office
As the title suggests, this project was a double story office building for Timberlink. This project started as the top level in the Tasbuilt yard, and was transported to site when it was 80% complete. It was placed on high enough piers so that the bottom level could be constructed underneath. This meant that the building only needed to be transported in two larger modules. Going to Bell Bay, the crew had to navigate tight spaces and busy areas to get this loaded and lifted onto site without disrupting the day to day operations of this business.
Well 2025 has already begun, and we’ve already successfully completed a few deliveries, so here’s to so many more throughout the year.
