Breaking New Ground - Tasbuilt Delivers First Home to Bruny Island

A milestone moment that proves even remote dreams are within reach

Big news — a dream has officially landed on Bruny Island.

For the very first time, a Tasbuilt home has been delivered to this iconic Tasmanian island, marking a major milestone in our mission to build across the furthest corners of the state. From the winding ferry ride to the on-site setup, this project is a strong reminder that when it comes to your dream location, nothing is too remote for Tasbuilt.

Bruny Island holds a special kind of magic — rugged coastlines, wild bushland, and that peaceful, off-grid feeling that’s hard to find anywhere else. For our client, it was the ultimate spot to create a getaway, and thanks to our modular building system, the journey to making it happen has been smooth and well-supported. From design to council approvals, right through to factory construction and delivery, the process has been streamlined every step of the way.

Final works are still underway on-site, but the tricky part — getting the home to Bruny — is already a huge success.

This project proves what we’ve always said: if you’ve got your heart set on a quiet coastal hideaway or a secluded block deep in the bush, Tasbuilt can make it happen.

Because when it comes to modular homes, remote doesn’t mean impossible — it just means we get to do what we do best.
