A New house was trucked in two parts to Norwood yesterday, causing a bit of a stir and bringing traffic almost to a standstill as it negotiated Penquite Road.
Built by Tasbuilt Homes at Westbury, the home was the ninth delivery in eight weeks for the company.
Operations manager Daniel Cunningham said the delivery of homes always caused a bit of a stir because it was not something the public would see every day.
He said his team regularly worked with the same local trucking and crane company as the move required skilled driving and manoeuvring.
Last week the company delivered the first 'new' home to Dunalley since the bushfires destroyed many properties in January.
Mr Cunningham said the home shifted into place at Norwood was fully painted, tiled and had all the cupboards installed.
